Verona is the setting of Shakespeare's famed tragedy, "Romeo and Juliet." You can stroll through the city stopping at the sites that played a central role in their love story.
An expert guide will help you relive the passion of the two lovers and imagine them in these places of great fascination.
You will go by Juliet's House and then Romeo's House on the way to Juliet's Tomb.
The guided tour will also show you the places where certain episodes of the tragedy were set, such as the Porta dei Borsari and the city walls.

Juliet's House
Juliet's House is not far from the Piazza delle Erbe, set in a romantic medieval building.
To get to Juliet's House, you cross a narrow passage whose walls are completely filled with the promises of lovers. The colorful jumble of these love messages forms a simply marvelous mosaic.
Then we come to an internal courtyard where the statue of Juliet is located. Legend has it that good luck will be yours if you touch the statue's right breast.
Now, look up and see Juliet's famous balcony from which the two lovers met in secret.
The building's inside has been made into a museum and perfectly recreates the setting of a medieval Veronese house of a wealthy family.
Interesting fact! The actual (presumed) house of Juliet's family was destroyed. The City chose this house to furnish as the Juliet's House-Museum to welcome the many visitors to Verona who come looking for the sites of the Shakespeare tragedy.

From reservation day up to 4 days before tour date, cancellation penalty is 30% of the total tour price.
For cancellations communicated to Italy Travels from 3 days prior to tour date, cancellation penalty is 100% of total price, therefore no reimbursement will be granted.
Cancellation policy will be applied proportionally to the number of cancelled tour participants.
