THE VASARI CORRIDOR AND THE UFFIZI GALLERY PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR
A visit to the Vasari Corridor is probably the most exclusive experience you can enjoy among Florence’s museums. Designed by Giorgio Vasari in 1565 at the request of Cosimo I de’ Medici, the corridor is an extraordinary architectural masterpiece, remarkable both for the speed with which it was built and for its unique structure. After many years of restoration, the Vasari Corridor has finally reopened its doors to visitors.

THE ITINERARY – THE UFFIZI GALLERY AND THE VASARI CORRIDOR
The total duration of the tour is approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes, including 3 hours with a guide. The itinerary can be customized according to the visitors’ specific requests. Normally, the tour includes about two hours inside the Uffizi Gallery to admire the main masterpieces, followed by entry into the Vasari Corridor, which leads to the exit in the Boboli Gardens near the Buontalenti Grotto.
The first part of the tour takes place in the Uffizi Courtyard, where the guide introduces the Vasari Corridor by showing its exterior structure, in particular the section that runs from Palazzo Vecchio to the Lungarno and crosses the Ponte Vecchio.
Visitors then enter the Uffizi Gallery, where the guide leads them through the museum’s most important works, with a special focus on masterpieces from the Early to the Late Renaissance. After the visit to the Uffizi, access to the Vasari Corridor is from the first floor of the gallery. The guided tour ends at the entrance to the Corridor, where the guide bids farewell to the participants.
The Vasari Corridor does not host art exhibitions; the visit continues as a walk along the Corridor itself, approximately 1 km long, with a maximum duration of about 40 minutes. Visitors will be accompanied by a museum staff member, together with other participants, with a maximum of 25 people at a time.
