Duration: approximately 3 hours

Price includes: private guided service (3 hours), entrance ticket with advance reservation to the Villa Adriana archaeological area, headsets to facilitate listening to the guide’s commentary for groups of more than 13 visitors.
Price does not include: transportation to and from Rome.
Children and minors: free of charge up to 5 years old. From 6 to 17 years old, please book the reduced entrance ticket for minors aged 6–17. Headsets will be provided only to children aged 8 and over.
Visitor tips: wear comfortable shoes; paths within the archaeological area may be uneven and unpaved.
Start time: from 9:00 a.m., at the visitor’s choice. During the winter months, the latest bookable start time is 2:00 p.m. From spring onward, up to 4:30 p.m.
ITINERARY OF THE TOUR VILLA ADRIANA
This tour lasts approximately 3 hours. The itinerary can be customized according to visitors’ special requests.
The tour includes the following highlights within the archaeological area of Villa Adriana:
Pecile Pool (Vasca del Pecile): built following the model of the structure of the same name in Athens.
Maritime Theatre (Teatro Marittimo): the heart of the villa, where Emperor Hadrian withdrew in solitude for reflection and meditation.
Hospitalia: the guest quarters, where beautiful floor mosaics can still be admired.
Golden Square (Piazza d’Oro): the most imposing hall of the villa.
Large Baths (Grandi Terme): still rich in original stucco decorations and precious marble.
Small Baths (Piccole Terme): an area reserved exclusively for the emperor and his guests.
Serapeum (Serapèo): the large nymphaeum inspired by the Temple of Serapis in Alexandria, Egypt.
Canopus (Canopo): the largest water basin that adorned the villa, along whose banks theatrical performances are still held during the summer.
If one or more of the above areas are inaccessible due to safety reasons or temporary closures, the guide will adjust the itinerary accordingly.
VILLA ADRIANA AND VILLA D'ESTE TOUR
Upon request by tour participants, made at the time of online booking, the itinerary can also include a stop at Villa d’Este. The total duration of the tour remains unchanged.
